Revival: Safar Moon Sighting
There's a forgotten sunnah in simply looking up. At the close of every lunar month, the Prophet ﷺ and his companions would search the horizon for the new crescent, marking time by the sky above them. Join us as we revive that practice. Dr. Ilyas Mohammed (PhD, Aerospace Engineering) will guide us through sighting the Safar crescent with a telescope, a warm bonfire, and s'mores under the stars.
